Welcome to the GFCM IUU API

Our Purpose

The GFCM is concerned by the fact that IUU fishing activities in the GFCM area of application continue, and that these activities diminish the effectiveness of the GFCM conservation and management measures. In this regard, GFCM has developed an API that collects IUU activities by vessels and transmits this information to concerned CPCs and Non-CPCs, where they may be asked to investigate the alleged IUU activity and/or monitor the relevant vessels.

A vessel may be removed from the IUU vessel list if it starts conforming with the regulations.

About this Portal

The API Developer portal is the API marketplace of GFCM.
Its purpose is to promote APIs to all CPCs and Non-CPCs and RFMOs.
